Happiness can't wait

Client: Youme Healthcare
Project: Brand identity and launch

This unique behavioral and mental healthcare network gives greater access to care by making intervention faster. By making appointments easier to schedule. By fully leveraging telehealth technology. By breaking down the physical and emotional barriers that prevent children and their families from getting care. And by helping everyone understand that our youth’s emotional and behavioral health isn’t something to be ignored. We created the name, brand identity and positioning to communicate the value of this startup and then brought it to life.

Name development | Brand identity design | Brand positioning | Website

One of the best creative approaches is to “demonstrate” the value offered. The name “Youme” does just that while capturing this startup’s true essence – to make our youth happy and healthier. The blending of “you” and “me” in the name immediately communicates the one-to-one partnership between the child/family and therapist. The friendliness and simplicity of the typeface along with the introduction of the two dots above the “u” not only captures the brand personality and purpose, but the expected result of the engagement.

The brand identity design projects a sense of energy, confidence and vitality to children and their families, as well as internal stakeholders and providers. The identity is simultaneously strong and yet approachable, which is key in communicating the values of the company in a way to resonate with target audiences.

The website message focuses on breaking down the emotional barriers and access to help, while speaking to youth and their families about virtually any issue children may be facing. The development of the tagline “Happiness can’t wait” communicates that our youth’s emotional and behavioral health isn’t something to be ignored or be difficult to attain. The visuals and copy make it easy to relate and engage to in a genuine way.

Happiness can’t wait. And with Youme our youth can expect personal help when they need it.

Happy is not thinking I'm always going to die
Happy is when the other kids stop laughing at me
Happy is not feeling like I'm going to explode
Happy is when my parents like me
Happy is not always feeling afraid
Happy is not always being mad
