Accuspray was an international supplier of paint spray equipment for industrial, auto body and painting contractor business. Today the company is a division of 3M.
The client was not only looking to differentiate itself from the competing gravity guns sold at paint retailers, but thirsty to break out of the typical industrial marketing messaging.
So how do you get immediate name recognition for a product? One way is to use a celebrity, even if that means using one from almost four hundred years ago. There’s no denying that his work is known globally, and his name has demonstrated that it definitely has staying power. Anyway, we named this gravity gun in honor of “Mr Gravity” himself, Mr. Isaac Newton, added our copy and everything else just fell into place. Including sales goals.
