Project: Retail in-store product category promotion
For nearly 150 years, Sherwin-Williams has been an industry leader in the development of technologically advanced paint and coatings.
This client had national retail product sales through Sears and they wanted to protect and nurture this relationship. Sherwin Williams took a proactive role in developing and implementing marketing campaigns to maintain and increase sales. Our role was as a think tank for strategic and exciting messaging for them to offer for Sears’ review.
Wall paint was selling just fine with all its color options, but for some reason ceiling paint sales didn’t match up. So we came up with an in-store promotion offering free ceiling paint with the purchase of 3 gallons of interior paint to make sure that customers weren’t ignoring their ceilings and that walls weren’t grabbing all of the attention.
